Beginner basics learn to crochet is designed for the absolute beginner, During the class you will learn how to hold your crochet hook, learn about different yarn fibres and size hook suitable for the yarn your crocheting with. You will be given a yarn pack of different colours a crochet hook and instructions to take home and refer to. You will learn different crochet stitches like a chain stitch, slip stitch, a double crochet and single crochet and how to use a crochet hook. The focus on the class is to get you to use a crochet hook confidently and to learn how to make a granny square.

During the class will will talk about what you would like to create once you have mastered the granny square.

This class will be run in the courtyard of the Fibre Art in Australia Balmain Shop. Inside The Institute Arcade, Shop 6/332 Darling St.
